Day 22 - The South

Gettin' along in the state of Mississippi.

I want to go to Mississippi and change the racism that is still prevalent and the laisez faire entrenched society discrimination, but really, this happens everywhere in all forms.

Americans are afraid/make jokes about Middle Easterners about Terrorism which is and can be related to the stereotypes of Blacks and the South. I want to make a poster that says

"you wouldn't call an african american the 'N' word, so why would you call a Middle Easterner a Terrorist?" and take a photo of a black kid with a Saudi or Pakistani kid standing next to him, both looking forlorn, maybe with makeup signifying them being beaten up.

Maybe that would do something, maybe not.

Time is the only weapon that can stop the mighty monsters of stereotypes.

Evil hides in the lush swamplands and deep dead cornfields of the South and Midwest.

Hope for those who can't.
